Raised in Syracuse, Utah. Graduated Clearfield High School, Attended Weber State University, and Brigham Young University Idaho. Served as a Leader in the Boy Scouts of America from 2006 to 2018. Wife (Marcie) and I have been certified as therapeutic foster parents where we served for 12 years. Scuba instructor and 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Served in many ecclesiastical leadership roles. Small business owner with my wife since January 2013. Married (Marcie) for 31 years with 1 son and 2 daughters (1 adopted still at home and 1 foster) and 5 grandchildren. Lifetime benefactor member NRA.
